The intent of this site is to seek out new layers of the evolving stack from which the magic is an emergent property, imbued with an ever-increasing level of intelligence and reach.  
The hope here is to organize, explore, understand, ponder, speculate, and explain the ascending layers of software infrastructure enabling clusters of cooperative processors, machine learning, the wisdom of the crowd, data science, the internet of things, artificial intelligence, and more of that general flavor of stuff.
